Services Offered At TRUSLER.net:

• TRUSLER.net membership.  Like all great memberships, membership at TRUSLER.net is FREE.  Members who sign up with TRUSLER.net have their names and email addresses added to the world-wide list of Truslers, so that other Truslers can find and contact them.  If they so desire, members can also have a link to their home page added to www.TRUSLER.net.  Members are encouraged to use the geneology database, one of the most important features of the site.  Members may contribute as much or as little information about themselves as they desire, and other Truslers they know about. Anyone wishing to be kept abreast of changes to TRUSLER.net is welcome to join, no matter what your last name is. Click Here To Join.

• TRUSLER.net PLUS membership.  For a small annual fee (yet to be determined, but probably $10CDN/year), TRUSLER.net members can get a personalized email address, i.e., <firstname>@trusler.net, or <firstname>@trussler.net, and their own web site hosted at www.trusler.net/<firstname>/homepage.html.   Members are not restricted to their first name, but can choose alternative monikers or nicknames if they so desire.  The email addresses can be used to forward mail to another address, or used as a full-fledged POP3 account.  Holiday messages and a variety of other features will be supported.  Note that this is a NOT FOR PROFIT site, and the fee is only used to offset the additional cost.

• A geneology system.  The geneology sytem is a program which allows members to store information about themselves in a database, and which builds relationships or family trees out of the inputs of various members.  The system will be able to show Truslers how they are related to one another, and eventually support complex searches.  It is hoped that members will not just store birth, marriage, death and city information, but also stories about their lives and explanations of their relationships to Truslers.  Because no family is an island, the database will include information about in-laws and non-Trusler descendents when members wish to add them.

• The TRUSLER.net list.  A list of email addresses and links to home pages of members.  Eventually, this will be searchable through the geneology database by city and relationships to other Truslers.

• The TRUSLER.net Bulletin Board.  This service includes:

• a list of upcoming events and reunions
• a place where members can ask and answer questions about the family or particular members. Adding your own message or question is easy.
• Announcements: Births, Deaths, Marriages, etc.
• Members can sign up to be notified by email of posted events and announcements by city, country, etc.
